About our Hoglets

After owning our own hogs for a number of years, and fostering unwanted hogs, not to mention running a successful and well respected Hedgehog Hotel, we are now pleased to be able to say we are breeding our own little hedgehogs.

We are aiming to provide regular litters but of course this is dictated by our pairing hogs getting along.

As breeders we are responsible for ensuring that all our hogs are happy and healthy.  We have to ensure that we do not breed hedgehogs who are related, and that we take great care with new-born hoglets.  You can rest assured that at Hedgepig Hotel Hoglets we have done everything in our power to ensure the health and safety of all our hogs.  

Part of our responsibility to our hogs is to make sure they go to the right homes, and we fully screen all potential owners before letting any of our hogs leave our care.  All new owners also have to sign a contract agreeing to ensure the ongoing safety and well-being of our hogs.

Before you buy a hoglet from us we welcome all prospective owners to visit us to see your hog. 

A visit prior to purchase allows you to meet your new pet, and have an opportunity to handle them.  More importantly, it gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about caring for your hog, as well as giving us a chance to meet the new owners of our hogs and form a better relationship with our customers.

All our Hoglets will come with a care pack containing essential items to help you get started with your new hog.
